Meet the Founder

Annie Simpson M Ed. is a leadership educator, facilitator, and executive coach with more than 20 years of experience.

Through creative design and expert facilitation, Annie partners with organizations to strengthen leadership capacity, deepen collaboration, enhance well-being, and create cultures that value both results and relationships.

As Founder of Annie Simpson Consulting, Annie designs and delivers customized leadership and team development initiatives for clients across sectors.

Annie’s career includes significant leadership roles in higher education.

At the University of Toronto, she co-led a large leadership institute within the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering, where she designed programs for both students and corporate professionals, managed a multidisciplinary team, and helped drive the institute’s strategic growth through new program development.

At Western University, she created and facilitated multi-day professional development programs for people-leaders (faculty and staff), equipping them to lead teams with greater self-awareness, empathy, vision, and communication skills.

Annie’s facilitation style integrates psychology, mindfulness, and creative dialogue practices to spark highly engaging learning environments.

She helps teams align on direction while strengthening trust, cohesion, and accountability.

Her work enables organizations not only to develop skilled and thoughtful leaders, but also to build teams where people feel valued, and supported to do their best work.

A lifelong learner, Annie holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and Adult Education and maintains multiple professional certifications.

She is certified to deliver the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Program and the Leader Effectiveness Program. She is a Social Styles Associate and is licensed to administer the Emotional Intelligence 2.0 assessment.

Annie completed her Executive Coach training through the College of Executive Coaching and has pursued training in team coaching through CRR Global (ORSC).

She serves as an executive coach for the Ivey Business School in London Ontario, and has experience in conflict mediation.

    Katie Wilhelm, RGD (she/her), is an award-winning Indigenous designer and consultant based in London. In her Top 20 Under 40 Award article, she was described as “A champion for the Indigenous community, she continuously looks to inspire others to create a more colourful future for London.”
